Lot of things in my life now that are under scrutiny...prioritizing, trying to channel my creative energy, doing the whole juggling act. Thinking about the things I do and why I do them, and thus, what's important to me and what I can let fall by the wayside. Art isn't one of the things that falls by the wayside, incidentally. I'm seeing improvement in myself, which is good. I've even been able to go back to sketches I did months or even years ago, and cannibalize them for a worthwhile result, which is extremely gratifying. Drawing a bit again, as things tend to go in fits and starts for me. Uploaded a couple of drawings...it's funny how my urge to draw increases the more gaming I do. Lately, it's been a lot of D&D, some other stuff thrown in. And I can always hope for a triumphant return to Shadowrun, too. Hopefully a couple of more uploads in the near future, too. I'm trying to remedy the issue of "Good God do I suck at backgrounds" with a little Photoshop, but the muse is predictably uncooperative. Maybe I shouldn't have chloroformed it and put it in a glass jar...

So, yes, I finally bothered to update. Not that I haven't been drawing, just that scanning and editing pics for DA is usually an epic task, or at least a couple hours worth of work because I have to scan on the other computer and transfer the files to mine. Bleh. Still doing stuff, though becoming very edgy about sharing it. I actually brought my portfolio of drawings to my writer's group just for a change of pace, and some of the critique was...well, not harsh, but worded in a pretty careless way that kind of hurt.
