Lot of things in my life now that are under scrutiny...prioritizing, trying to channel my creative energy, doing the whole juggling act. Thinking about the things I do and why I do them, and thus, what's important to me and what I can let fall by the wayside.

Art isn't one of the things that falls by the wayside, incidentally. I'm seeing improvement in myself, which is good. I've even been able to go back to sketches I did months or even years ago, and cannibalize them for a worthwhile result, which is extremely gratifying.

I'm as much a visual person as I am a word person, and in spite of the fact that the writing side of my brain is the stronger (and more competent) half, I still have the need to visualize things and put them to paper. So I keep drawing, and try to be happy with the one in, oh, twenty or so that actually seems to turn out.

But, anyway, long story short, yes, alive, yes, drawing. :> More updates to come at some point in the near but yet to be determined future.
